Brad Bond is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Practitioner, licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the CFP™ marks. The CFP Board is a professional regulatory organization. Its mission is to benefit the public by fostering professional standards in personal financial planning. It establishes and enforces education, examination, experience, and ethics requirements for CFP™ certificants.
Mr. Bond also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. The CFA® charter has become known worldwide as the designation of professional excellence in the fields of portfolio management and investment analysis. Charter holders must pass three levels of written examinations sequentially, have requisite professional experience working in the investment decision-making process, and meet high ongoing standards of ethical and professional conduct. The Association for Investment Management and Research owns the CFA and Chartered Financial Analyst Marks, and sets the requirements and standards for their use.

The fee-only logo indicates that our compensation comes directly and only from the client. As such, our recommendations are untainted by any type of commission or other compensation received by the vendors of financial products, such as investment funds and insurance companies. Fee-Only advisors provide consumers and with independent and objective financial advice, keeping only the best interests of the client in mind - with neither the advisor nor any related party receiving compensation contingent on the purchase or sale of a financial product.

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors is the largest professional association of comprehensive, Fee-Only financial planners in the United States. With 750+ members and affiliates, in 45 states, the members of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) subscribe to a fiduciary oath that puts client interests first. NAPFA members must also:
- Meet stiff credentialing and educational requirements
- Be primarily engaged as comprehensive financial advisors
- Meet the most rigorous continuing education requirements
- Submit to outside professional review to ensure the absence of conflicts of interest
- Submit a financial plan for peer review before they can be admitted.

The Financial Planning Association – FPA, is a membership organization for the financial planning community. FPA members are dedicated to supporting the financial planning process to help people achieve their goals and dreams. This ongoing process involves taking stock of all your existing resources, developing a plan to utilize them, and systematically implementing, monitoring and updating the plan to help you achieve your short-and long-term financial goals.

The Garrett Planning Network, Inc. (GPN) is a nationwide network of professional, Fee-Only financial advisors. GPN members are dedicated to providing competent, unbiased financial advice on an hourly as-needed basis to people from all walks of life, not just the wealthy. There are no product sales or commissions, no minimum net worth requirements, and no need to establish an account. Very few of the nation’s financial planning firms offer this flexibility.
